BOX MAKERS YARD: MAKE YOUR MARK

A series of stop motion animated shorts to advertise furnished apartments and other on-site facilities in a brand new build near Bristol city centre.

As the apartments are pet-friendly, the animals did the talking!

Following a detailed pre-production stage, including character design, storyboarding and animatics, the puppets and sets were created. All puppets had felt finishes, which gave them a warm and fuzzy look; whilst the set interiors were accurately reproduced to best reflect the actual appartments at Box Makers. Post-production added the final touches to bring this charming campaign to life.

Working closely with co-collaborator, Roos Mattaar, I was involved at each main stage of production; producing character designs for all characters, designing and editing animatics, producing puppet inners and exteriors; fabricating set pieces and props, lighting, and animating the Gym, Roof Terrace and end sequences, plus all post-production.
