STOP MOTION ANIMATION
DC SUPER FRIENDS: MATTEL

A social first advert for Mattel’s DC Super Friends range of toys at Smyths Toy Stores, aimed at older children and the young at heart.

I worked with the animation director at Short & Sweet Studios as lead stop motion animator on this 30 second production. The product range was extensive, from small poseable action figures to large robot toys. To remain faithful to the product movement and features, no additional armatures were used, rather the products were animated ‘as is’ on rigs. I also assisted with studio set-up and product rigging.
